Wonder opportunity. Our guide really made our trip special. We did the snorkeling tour with Ronan. He was knowledgable and just flat out funny. We learned so much. If you have snorkeled before in salt water, this experience was so much more enjoyable because the water tastes amazing. Snorkeling was enjoyable, but not for anyone who is not in good health or hates to be chilly.
Amazing day out with our guide Ryan, he was knowledgeable, funny and helpful, also Michael on the Glacier hike was a pro. A truly unforgettable day, met some great people and seen some of the most beautiful sites in
the world. Proud to be a Tröll 🇮🇸❄️💙
Thanks guys!
Best Tour of my Life
This tour was by far one of the best ways to explore Iceland in the beginning of winter. Throughout the 8 days we saw countless waterfalls, beautiful landscapes and wildlife.
The bus was comfortable and clean and also had in built wifi.
My friend & I went on the Silfra snorkeling tour with Anna as our guide. She was AMAZING! It was snowing gently as we entered the water. The snorkeling was so beautiful & Anna was so knowledgeable & friendly, both of which resulted in a delightful time. This was one of our favorite Iceland memories. Thank you Anna & Team Troll! 🙂 P.S. Anna is also a wonderful photographer!
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our snorkeling experience between the tectonic plates in Silfra! Marcus, our tour guide, was exceptional! We had excellent conversation and he was EXTREMELY accommodating! Marcus shared much of the history of the surrounding area and went into great detail about the fresh water that flows through the tectonic plates.
The whole experience was just amazing and every day we thought it couldn't get any better but it did. We learnt so much about this beautiful country especially thanks to our guide Fannar. He knows so much about a variety of things and loves to share his knowledge. He tried to get us to know the culture a bit by playing icelandic music, the life around here and so on.
We did the 2 Day Blue Ice Cave & South Coast: Glacier Hike, Jokulsarlon & Northern Lights and it was an awesome experience. Our guides were really knowledgeable, explaining us lot of details of Iceland, its people, its culture, the glaciers, the northern lights…
The views to and at the destinations in the itinerary are amazing. Every stop we went to was like straight out of the National Geographic Magazines.. especially the glacier hike and glacier lagoon. Our guide, Siggy was very welcoming from the start and was very experienced and gave us a lot of helpful tips and answered a lot of questions that I had about Iceland.
We had a group of 5 (all adults) in the 8-day winter tour with Troll expeditions. The local guide super nice and interesting. Stefano was the driver and the guide. He combined professionalism and 'safety first' with warmth and good humor, conveying his knowledge of the country and culture and his love for the land and the people.
One of my favorite parts of visiting Iceland! We had a wonderful guide named Janet. She had such a great sense of humour and had so much knowledge to share with us! We had a group of diverse physical abilities and she was great at making sure we felt good on our glacier journey. We made enough stops to take pictures for the memories. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
This two day tour on the south coast is perfect for seeing the highlights of this part of Iceland. Every sight we visited was amazing! Since we were a small group, it was easy to indicate what we were all interested in and our guide was very flexible on making extra stops and spending more time in certain places. We 100% recommend this tour!
I had a great experience hiking one of the glaciers of Reykjavik with Gummi in January. He was super friendly and knowledgeable, answered our group's barrage of questions, and even preempted then, gave us all the info we needed to feel safe, and regaled is with tales of everyday life in modern Iceland. It was the best tour I had during the trip because of all of this. Thanks Gummi, I had a blast!

The Silfra snorkeling was my favorite highlight in Iceland. Where else in the world can you snorkel between two tectonic plates.?! I went on this tour in mid July with a few girlfriends. We booked this tour for the day we arrived in Iceland.
I like much the Troll Expedition services. They bring us many place for fun and fantastic place, which is special blue ice cave etc.. This is our forgotten memories in Iceland with my family and friend. I love : Troll Expedition.
Aurora Borealis, also known as the northern lights, is a common natural phenomena that lightens Iceland’s sky every year, between end-August and mid-April.
Northern lights can only be seen on dark, clear nights.
Due to Iceland’s geographical location, northern lights cannot be observed during the summer season, as Iceland during this time experiences the another natural phenomena - the midnight sun - a time of the year with 24/7 hours of daylight.
The forecast of auroral activity shows where the northern lights are right now. This forecast is updated every 5 minutes.
Join us on a hunt for the northern lights in Iceland.
