Join us on this exciting trip to the newest volcano in Iceland! On this amazing day we will explore our beloved Fagradasfjall volcano and the hidden gems of the Reykjanes Peninsula.

Tour Description

On the day of your tour, we will come and pick you up from your chosen bus stop or hotel in Reykjavík. We will then start the unforgettable adventure to the most famous volcano in Iceland - Fagradalsfjall.

During the first 6 hours of our trip we will explore the newly formed volcano, and the magical surroundings of the Reykjanes Peninsula. On our way to Geldingadalur (location of the volcano) we will pass by a highly volcanic area – where thousand year old lava fields have overtaken the whole peninsula.

Once we reach the parking lot, we will start our hike to the volcano. We will make our way to the newly formed lava fields, where we will be able to touch them and even take a few lava stones with us!

We will then make our way to the top of a mountain, where we will be able to see the volcano and the magnificent lava fields from the top.

While enjoying the beautiful views, we will stop for a chocolate break – where we will have HRAUN Chocolate – which means LAVA in Icelandic.
